WHAT WE DO
LETTING AGENT
We are here to help you when you are looking at letting your home, apartment, office, warehouse, estate or land. We do this for both residential and commercial properties. We help you understand the whole process from start to finish. Our team of experts will coordinate all the marketing, looking for occupiers, carry out viewing of listed properties, and negotiate on behalf of the client.

We offer advice to property owners be it a first-time buyer or seller or a seasoned one. The property portfolio ranges from selling or buying of land, residential properties such as apartments or commercial properties such as offices or warehouses.

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
Varel Property Management Services Ltd.’s facilities management service covers varieties of assets such as private gardens, roads, walkways, parks, communal facilities and unoccupied land. We have the expertise and experience to carry out these services which include health and safety risk assessment, fire safety risk assessment, property inspection, environmental assessment, protecting the environment, maintaining and repair of the property drainage system, cleaning services, maintenance of electrical installations and equipment such as standby generators and other mechanical and plumbing work. Continuous evaluations of the property is carried out both inside and outside to ensure tenants are complying with the terms of their lease and to assess property conditions.
FINANCE MANAGEMENT
Our team of experts are experienced in managing finances on behalf of the client. We do this by receiving rental income on behalf of the client, monitoring monthly bill payments of the tenants, maintaining accounting records of all payments, purchase and disbursements. Tenants are offered a variety of ways to pay rent and incentives for paying rent on time. They are treated with utmost respect and fairly with two-way communication provided to all.
VETTING OF TENANTS
We evaluate every tenant’s leasing or renting application based on credit, criminal background, sex offender registry, employment verification and residency/rental history. Thorough screening complies with all applicable Kenyan laws. After vetting is completed, the lease agreement is signed and a move-in condition assessment of the property is carried out with the approved tenant. If a tenant breaches the terms of the lease agreement for example, not paying rent in a timely manner, we initiate the necessary legal processes of eviction, in a timely manner which minimizes the costs to the client and get the property leased or bought again.
